Ian Arons is a Partner and Co-Chairperson of the Investment Committee. Ian is also Co-Head of the Firm’s Diversified Industrials Industry Vertical. Ian joined TJC in 2003. Prior to TJC, Ian worked in the Global Leveraged Finance Group at Lehman Brothers. He currently serves on the board of directors of Agility, Allure Labs, Arclin, Bojangles, Bruin II, Delrin, Parts Authority, Polymer Solutions Group, Potters, RFive, RFour, USALCO and Vantage Specialty Chemicals. Ian holds a B.S. degree in Business Economics and Public Policy from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
Steven Austgen is a Senior Associate and a member of OMG. Steven joined TJC in 2021. Prior to TJC, Steven was a Senior Operations Analyst at Trace where he implemented several core technology & reporting systems, as well as established foundational operations for finance, sales and marketing. Steven holds a B.S. degree in Finance & Commercial Real Estate from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
Cole Berger is an Associate and joined TJC in 2023. Prior to TJC, Cole worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Consumer & Retail Group at Stifel Financial Corp. Cole holds a B.A. degree, cum laude, in Economics from Lafayette College.
Mark Burggraaff is a Partner and a member of OMG. Mark joined TJC in 2010. He is primarily focused on value creation initiatives across the portfolio. Prior to TJC, Mark worked as a general manager of Altra Industrial Motion, as well as Honeywell Aerospace, where he held various roles in project management and technical analysis. He currently serves on the board of directors of ARCH Global Precision, Camco, CPI, Heartland and Silvus. Mark holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
Dave Butler is a Partner and serves on the Partnership Board, Executive Committee and Investment Committee. Dave leads the Firm’s Diversified Services Industry Horizontal. Dave joined TJC in 1994. He currently serves on the board of directors of Camco, Dental365, Heartland, Legion Sports, Sunny Sky Products, WEP Clinical, Worldwide Clinical Trials and Young Innovations. Dave also serves on the board of directors of the Catholic Youth Organization for the Archdiocese of New York, DARI, Holtz’s Heroes Foundation, St. Vincent’s Hospital Advisory Board, St. John’s Jesuit High School, The Brunswick School, The Danny Butler Memorial Fund, Inc., The Richard M. Rich Caputo is the Chairman and Chief Executive Partner of TJC. He is also the Chairperson of the Partnership Board and Executive Committee and a member of the Investment Committee. Rich joined TJC in 1990. Prior to TJC, Rich was a financial analyst in the High Yield Corporate Finance Group at Prudential-Bache. He serves and has served on the board of directors of several of the Firm’s portfolio companies. Rich is a Trustee of Brown University as well as a director of other non-profit organizations. Rich holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Economics and Business Economics from Brown University.
Richie Caputo is the Director of Data and AI at TJC. Richie joined TJC in 2023. He manages data infrastructure and AI engineering for the firm. Prior to TJC, Richie was a data and machine learning engineer for several AI startups, including OnCorps and Blueflame AI. Richie holds a B.A.Sc. degree in Applied Mathematics from Brown University and a M.Fin. degree in Financial Mathematics from MIT Sloan School of Management.
Peter Carbonara, Jr. is a Partner and the Chief Financial Officer of TJC. Peter joined TJC in 2007. Prior to TJC, Peter was a Vice President at Crystal River Capital, Inc., a real estate investment company. Prior to Crystal River Capital, Peter was a Vice President, Controller, at Private Export Funding Corporation. Peter holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from St. John’s University and is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Ariel Chang is a Data Analyst and a member of OMG. Ariel joined TJC in 2023. At TJC, Ariel is responsible for data analysis in support of value creation activities. Ariel holds a B.A. degree in Foreign Languages & Literatures, with a Specialization in Computational Linguistics, from National Taiwan University and an M.S. degree in Information, with a Specialization in Data Science, from the University of Michigan.
Caroline Chiaroni is a Vice President and joined TJC in 2019. Caroline works on investments across the Firm’s Industry Verticals. Prior to TJC, Caroline worked as an Associate in the Global Mergers & Acquisitions – Exclusive Sales Group at Barclays. She currently serves on the board of directors of Allure Labs. Caroline holds a B.A. degree with Honors in Economics from Princeton University.
Grace Choi is an Associate and joined TJC in 2023. Prior to TJC, Grace worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Global Industrials group at Barclays Investment Bank. Grace holds a B.A. degree, cum laude, in Political Science from Vanderbilt University.
Kristin Custar is a Partner and the Head of the Global Investor Capital Group of TJC. She is also a member of the Executive Committee. Kristin joined TJC in 2007. Kristin oversees all fundraising efforts, investor relations and general marketing activities. Prior to TJC, Kristin was the Director of Investor Relations at First Reserve Corporation. Prior to First Reserve, she spent two years working at GE Equity as a limited partner and four years at Arthur Andersen in the Transaction Advisory Group. Kristin currently serves on the board of directors of Spectrio. Kristin also serves on the Advisory Board for Girls Who Invest. Kristin received a B.S. degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Assiya Dair is a Senior Associate and joined TJC in 2022. Prior to TJC, Assiya worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications group at UBS. Assiya holds a B.A. degree, cum laude, in Economics from Boston College.
Mike Denvir is a Partner and serves on the Partnership Board, Executive Committee and Investment Committee. He is also Co-Chairperson of the Investment Committee and Co-Head of the Firm’s Diversified Industrials Industry Vertical. Mike joined TJC in 1998. Jane DoCampo is an Assistant Controller and joined TJC in 2003. Prior to joining TJC, Jane was a Senior Accountant at Armienti, DeBellis & Rhoden, LLP, a litigation law firm. Prior to Armienti, DeBellis & Rhoden, she was a Senior Accountant at NY Gynecological & Health Services. Jane holds a B.S. in Accounting from University of Santo Tomas, Manila Philippines.
Jeff Dombek is a Vice President and a member of OMG. Jeff joined TJC in 2018. Prior to TJC, Jeff completed the Accelerated Career Development Program and held several roles in business management and engineering with Air Products. Jeff also managed a P&L in Houston and was heavily engaged in market analysis, pricing and new business development. Jeff holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and an M.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin.
Eliza Dwinell joined TJC as an Analyst in 2024 and is focused on investor relations and marketing. Eliza received a B.A. degree in English from Trinity College.
Mark Emery is a Partner and Co-Head of OMG. He is also a member of the Executive Committee and Investment Committee. Mark joined TJC in 2008. Prior to TJC, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Northstar Aerospace Inc. (TSX:NAS), a supplier of flight-critical components to the Commercial and Defense Aerospace industry. Prior to Northstar, Mark served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Indalex Aluminum Solutions Group. He is an experienced international executive who has held senior-level positions with several companies located in Europe, including as President of Caradon Terrain Ltd., President of Hubbard Group, President of Margaux CVC Ltd. and Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. Mark currently serves on the board of directors of ACR Group, Arclin, CFS Brands, Gulfstream Services, Innoflight and Precisional. Mark holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Bristol University and an M.B.A. degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Lizzie Emmanuel is a Vice President and joined TJC in 2021. Prior to TJC, Lizzie worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Healthcare Group at Piper Sandler Companies. Prior to Piper Sandler, she worked in the Transaction Services Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Lizzie holds a B.S. degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia and is a certified public accountant.
Michael Epstein is a Vice President and the Controller of TJC. Michael joined TJC in 2014. Prior to TJC, Michael was a Vice President at Citi Private Equity Services. Prior to Citi, he was a Vice President at The Bank of New York in the Mutual Fund Department. Michael holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Long Island University.
Erik Fagan is a Partner and serves on the Investment Committee. He is also Head of the Firm’s Industrial Technology Industry Vertical. Erik joined TJC in 2004. Prior to TJC, Erik worked in the Global Natural Resources Group at Lehman Brothers. He currently serves on the board of directors of ACR Group, ARCH Global Precision, CPI, Innoflight, iNRCORE, Polymer Solutions Group, Precisional and Silvus. Erik holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Williams College.
Barry Gallup, Jr. is a Partner and Chairperson of the Firm’s Talent Committee. Barry works on investments across the Firm’s Industry Verticals, manages the Firm’s associate pool and oversees the recruitment and hiring of new associates. Barry joined TJC in 2012. Prior to TJC, Barry worked in the Investment Banking division at Morgan Stanley. He currently serves on the board of directors of Agility, ARCH Global Precision, Arclin, Delrin, Industrial Service Group, Insulation Technology Group, RFour, Specialty Building Products and Young Innovations. Barry holds a B.B.A. degree in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.
Megan Gatley is the Director of Tax and a member of OMG. Megan joined TJC in 2023. She provides federal and state tax law technical advice as well as tax structuring advice and tax-related due diligence for our portfolio companies. In addition, she helps coordinate with service providers for tax provisions and compliance. Prior to TJC, Megan worked as a senior tax manager at RSM US LLP. Megan holds a B.S. in Accounting, B.A. in Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy from Truman State University. She is a certified public accountant.
Niko Georgiopoulos is an Associate and a member of OMG. Niko joined TJC in 2024. He supports the portfolio companies on insurance & employee benefits. Prior to TJC, Niko was an associate at Mercer. Niko holds a B.B.A. degree with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Michigan.
Ben Giampetroni is a Senior Associate and joined TJC in 2022. Prior to TJC, Ben was on the investment team at Vertica Capital Partners, a software-focused investment firm. Prior to Vertica, he was an associate at EY-Parthenon. Ben holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Brown University.
Ali Hasanali is the Director of IT and a member of OMG. Ali joined TJC in 2022. He supports our portfolio companies with IT diligence, cyber security monitoring and IT system selections. Prior to TJC, Ali was the Director of IT at World’s Finest® Chocolate. Prior to that, he was a consultant at Contax Inc. where he focused on SAP development, configuration and implementations. Ali holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is an SAP Certified Development Associate.
Michelle Healy is the Compliance Manager and joined TJC in 2024. Prior to TJC, Michelle was a Senior Manager at IQ-EQ. Michelle holds an L.L.B. degree from Griffith College Dublin.
Brian Higgins is a Partner and serves on the Partnership Board, Executive Committee and Investment Committee. He is also Co-Head of the Firm’s Logistics and Supply Chain Industry Vertical. Brian joined TJC in 1999. Prior to TJC, Brian was with the Global Natural Resources Group at Lehman Brothers. He currently serves on the board of directors of AIT, Capstone, Echo, Odyssey, PSC Group and TransImpact. Brian holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Williams College. He is a CFA® charterholder.
Bruce Hittleman is the Director of Office Operations and joined TJC in 2000. Prior to TJC, Bruce worked as the Front Office Manager at the Carlyle Hotel in New York City. He is responsible for managing day-to-day office activities including TJC’s technology infrastructure. Bruce holds a B.A. degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.

He is primarily responsible for internal and external financial reporting and analysis for various portfolio companies. Prior to TJC, Chris worked at Crowe Horwath LLP. He is also Co-Head of the Firm’s Technology and Infrastructure Industry Vertical. Eion joined TJC in 1999. Prior to TJC, Eion worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Salomon Smith Barney. He currently serves on the board of directors of GrowthLoop, Insulation Technology Group, LegitScript, Spectrio, Syndigo and Vyne. Eion also serves on the boards of the Friends of Harvard Football and the Harvard Varsity Club. Eion holds an A.B. degree in Economics from Harvard University and an M.B.A. degree from Harvard Business School.
Frances Huang is a Vice President and joined TJC in 2022. Frances is focused on investor relations and marketing. Prior to TJC, Frances worked in fund placement at Campbell Lutyens, a global placement agent. Prior to Campbell Lutyens, she worked in the investor relations team at J.P. Morgan Asset Management and Coller Capital, as well as the investment team at Fortress Investment Group. Frances started her career as a risk analyst at GE Capital. Frances received a B.S. degree in Finance from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
Sarah Hubbard is a Vice President and joined TJC in 2023. Sarah is focused on investor relations and marketing. Prior to TJC, Sarah was an Associate on the Investor Relations team at Roark Capital Group. Prior to Roark, she worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at William Blair & Company. He has also held several roles within operations through completing AbbVie’s Operations Development Program. Zeson Li is an Accountant and joined TJC in 2016. Prior to TJC, Zeson was the Accounts Payable Manager at Van Eck, an ETF & Mutual Fund Manager. Zeson holds a B.B.A. degree in Finance and Investments from Baruch College, New York and has over 15 years of experience in corporate accounting.
Joe Linnen is a Partner and Co-Head of Business Development. Joe also serves on the Executive Committee and Investment Committee. Joe joined TJC in 1993. Joe is focused on sourcing, originating and evaluating transactions on behalf of TJC. He serves on the board of directors of CFS Brands. Joe is Chairman Emeritus of the La Lumiere School Board of Trustees, and he was Co-Chairman of its Courageous Vision Capital Campaign. Joe was a founding Director of the Oz Park Baseball Association in Chicago. Joe holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration with concentration in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.
Billy Liss is a Vice President and a member of OMG. Billy joined TJC in 2019. He advises on the strategy and optimization of transaction & business insurance and labor & employee benefits. He is also involved with due diligence for acquisitions as well as assisting portfolio companies upon divestiture. Prior to TJC, Billy worked at Lockton Companies advising large and middle-market organizations. Billy holds a B.A. degree with Honors in Interpersonal Communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Jordan Melnick is the Vice President of Operations of TJC. Jordan joined TJC in 2014. Prior to TJC, Jordan worked on the Accounting and Finance Team at Wolfensohn Fund Management, L.P., an impact focused private equity firm. Jordan holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from George Washington University and is a certified public accountant.

She is also involved with due diligence for acquisitions as well as assisting portfolio companies upon divestiture. Prior to TJC, Christina was a senior auditor for Ernst & Young LLP. She currently serves on the board of directors of Camco, Gulfstream Services and TIDI. Christina holds a B.B.A. degree with an emphasis in Finance and Accounting from the University of Michigan and is a certified public accountant.
Tyler Myles is an Associate and a member of the ESG Commitee. Tyler joined TJC in 2024 and supports implementation of TJC’s ESG strategy. Prior to TJC, she was a Senior Sustainability Associate at Schnieder Electric. Tyler holds a B.A. degree in Global Studies & French and Francophone Studies from the University of Illinois. She also earned a Master of French Studies from the University of Wisconsin, where she studied International Development with a concentration on Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Lisa Ondrula is a Partner and Co-Head of OMG. She is also a member of the Executive Committee, the Chairperson of the Environmental, Social and Governance Committee, a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and a member of the Talent Committee. Lisa joined an affiliate of TJC in 1994. She has held various financial roles with an emphasis on financial reporting and analysis, due diligence, debt and equity offerings, acquisitions and divestitures. Lisa has extensive experience supporting CFOs in the portfolio with acquisition-related transition issues as well as providing project management and support to CFOs during divestitures. She also manages relationships with outside accounting firms and related service providers. Prior to TJC, Lisa worked at Ernst & Young, LLP. Lisa currently serves on the board of directors of Allure Labs, Delrin, Potters, Sunny Sky Products and Syndigo. Lisa holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Miami University and is a certified public accountant.
Vanessa Palacios is the ICG Coordinator. She joined TJC in 2018. Prior to TJC, Vanessa worked as an Administrative – Research Assistant on the Investment Committee Team at American Capital. Vanessa holds a B.S. degree in International Trade and Marketing from The Fashion Institute of Technology.
Antigona Perasevic is an Assistant Controller and joined TJC in 2023. Prior to TJC, Antigona was an Assistant Controller with Blue Wolf Capital Partners. Prior to Blue Wolf, Antigona held positions at HQ Capital and SS&C Technologies. Antigona holds a B.S. degree in Finance from St. Francis College.

Teresa Ricotta is a Vice President and a member of OMG. Teresa joined TJC in 2020. Prior to TJC, Teresa was a Senior Procurement Manager at The Kraft Heinz Company. She has held several roles in Procurement including ingredients and external manufacturing. Prior to Kraft Heinz, Teresa worked at Nestlé as a Strategic Buyer/Sourcing Specialist. Teresa holds a B.S. degree in Supply Chain and Information Systems from The Pennsylvania State University.
Ben Robbins is a Senior Accountant and joined TJC in 2024. Prior to TJC, Ben was a Senior Management Company Accountant at Gen II Fund Services. Ben holds an A.S. degree in Business Administration and Management from Brookdale Community College and a B.S. degree in Accounting from Rutgers University.
Lile Ruggiero is a Senior Associate and joined TJC in 2022. Prior to TJC, Lile worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Leveraged Finance Group at Credit Suisse. Lile holds a B.B.A. degree, magna cum laude, in Economics from Baruch College at Macaulay Honors College.
Jim Sikorski is a Principal and joined TJC in 2016. Jim works on investments across the Firm’s Industry Verticals. Prior to TJC, Jim worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Industrials Group at Deutsche Bank. He currently serves on the board of directors of Anchor, Five Star, Insulation Technology Group, Legion Sports, RFive, Soteria and Spectrio. Jim holds a B.S. degree in Applied Economics and Management from The Dyson School of Cornell University.
Madison Soukup is a Senior Associate and joined TJC in 2022. Prior to TJC, Madison worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Consumer, Retail & Business Services Group at J.P. Morgan. Madison holds a B.A. degree, magna cum laude, in Economics from Princeton University.
Cole Stasiak is a Senior Associate and a member of OMG. Cole joined TJC in 2023. He is primarily responsible for portfolio companies’ compliance with quarterly and annual external financial reporting requirements. Prior to TJC, Cole worked at Deloitte & Touche LLP. Cole holds a B.B.A. and an MAcc from the University of Wisconsin. He is a certified public accountant.
Nick Storm is a Vice President and a member of OMG. Nick joined TJC in 2016. He supports the portfolio companies with various accounting and finance projects as well as diligence support for acquisitions and divestures. Prior to TJC, Nick held positions with Riveron Consulting and Ernst & Young. Nick holds a B.B.A. degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Iowa’s Henry B. Tippie College of Business and is a certified public accountant.
John Straus is a Partner and is primarily focused on investments in the Firm’s Diversified Services Industry Horizontal. John joined TJC in 2008. Prior to TJC, John worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions Advisory group at Gleacher Partners. He currently serves on the board of directors of Heartland, Ned Stevens and Young Innovations. John holds a B.S. degree in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Pete Suffredini is a Partner and Co-Head of the Firm’s Logistics and Supply Chain Industry Vertical. Pete joined TJC in 2006. Prior to TJC, Pete worked in the Global Energy Group at Citigroup. He currently serves on the board of directors of AIT, Capstone, Echo, Odyssey, PSC Group and TransImpact. Pete holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Babson College.
Jackie Tang is a Senior Associate and joined TJC in 2022. Prior to TJC, Jackie worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at TAP Advisors. Jackie holds a B.A. degree in Psychology from Columbia University.
Mia Tsudis is an Associate and joined TJC in 2023. Prior to TJC, Mia worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Global Power & Utilities group at Barclays Investment Bank. Mia holds B.S. degrees in Accounting and Finance from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
Ugo Ude is a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of TJC. He is also a member of the Executive Committee. Ugo joined TJC in 2017. Prior to TJC, Ugo was a partner in the Corporate & Securities practice at Mayer Brown where he represented private equity funds in all facets of their business. He currently serves on the board of directors of ACR Group, Bruin II, Legion Sports, RFive, RFour and Specialty Building Products. Ugo holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.A. in Political Science from Yale University.
Eleanor Urdang is an Associate and joined TJC in 2024. Prior to TJC, Ellie worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Global Consumer & Retail Group at Bank of America. Ellie holds a B.A. degree in Economics and Environmental Studies from Dartmouth College.

Kate Warren is an Associate and joined TJC in 2023. Kate is focused on investor relations and marketing. Prior to TJC, Kate was an Investment Banking Analyst at Barclays. Kate received a B.S. degree in Environment & Sustainability: Environmental Economics from Cornell University.
Brad Wilford is a Partner, serves on the Investment Committee and is the Chairperson of the Data and AI Committee. He is also Co-Head of the Firm’s Technology and Infrastructure Industry Vertical. Brad joined TJC in 2002. Prior to TJC, Brad worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Salomon Smith Barney. He currently serves on the board of directors of GrowthLoop, LegitScript, Spectrio, Syndigo and Vyne. Brad holds an A.B. degree in Economics from Harvard University.
Dan Williams is a Partner and Co-Head of the Firm’s Consumer and Healthcare Industry Vertical. Dan joined TJC in 2006. Prior to TJC, Dan worked in the Leveraged Finance Group at JPMorgan. He currently serves on the board of directors of Anchor, Dental365, Five Star, Odyssey, Spartech, TIDI, Vyne and WEP Clinical. Dan holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Northwestern University.
Leah Yablonka is the Director of ESG at TJC and a member of OMG. Leah joined TJC in 2021. Prior to TJC, Leah was an ESG Analyst at Ariel Investments. Prior to Ariel, she was a management consultant at PwC. Leah holds a B.S. degree, cum laude, in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. Leah holds the Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) credential administered by SASB and the Sustainability and Climate Risk certification administered by GARP. Leah was also a 2020 Fellow at the Clean Energy Leadership Institute.
Doug Zych is a Partner and serves on the Executive Committee and Investment Committee. Doug joined TJC in 1995. Doug is responsible for all capital markets activities in both existing portfolio companies as well as new investments. Prior to TJC, Doug was an investment banker in the Mergers & Acquisitions group of Merrill Lynch & Co. He is a member of the Notre Dame Wall Street Leadership Committee. He currently serves on the board of directors of RFour and RFive. Doug holds a B.B.A. degree from the University of Notre Dame.
Jonathan “Jeb” Boucher is an Advisory Partner of TJC. Jeb joined TJC in 1983. Prior to TJC, Jeb was a senior lender at Manufacturer Hanover Trust Company. He has served on the board of directors of several portfolio companies. Jeb holds a BA degree in Economics from Williams College.
